The winemaker

AMILY, here is the operating word. For three generations the family operates Koehly vineyards. Initially, in the 1930s, our family was not only specialized in the vine and wine. In those years, our operation was based on mixed farming, vine, tobacco and livestock. We had then 50 acres of vineyards and the entire crop was sold to the wine cooperative. In the years 1964 - 1965, we already were producing wine but our entire production was sold in bulk.
