The winemaker

The Pfister family has been cultivating vines since 1780 on the clay-limestone soils of Dahlenheim, a village 20 minutes from Strasbourg. Mélanie Pfister, 8th generation and first female member of the family, will be delighted to welcome you to discover her wines. Balance is the watchword that guides the elaboration of each wine in the range: Crémant d'Alsace, Vins de terroirs, Vins du Grand Cru Engelberg and Vins de vendanges tardives. The cultivation of the 10 ha of vines and the work carried out in the cellar all pursue a single objective: to obtain healthy grapes and wines of the highest quality. In 2013, this fundamental approach was rewarded with the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) label!
