The winemaker

Clos de Mez has been run by women for 3 generations, during which time it has supplied the Cave Coopérative de Fleurir. It was the 4th generation, embodied by Marie-Elodie Zighera, who took the estate into another dimension. The winemaker's destiny had already been written: the MEZ name for this vineyard is the initial one. So it was that Marie-Elodie Zighera took over the reins in 2006 with the determination to "rediscover the wines of our forefathers! ". The 6-hectare vineyard is planted with Fleurie and Morgon appellation wines.
