The winemaker

Winegrowers from father to son since 1956 in the Beaujolais region, we continue the family tradition in Charentay, at the foot of the Brouilly hill. Today, Domaine Bertrand extends over 15 hectares from Charentay, in the heart of Beaujolais, to Juliénas, in the north of the region. Rigorous work in the vineyard, harvesting done by hand, we take particular care in the elaboration of our different cuvées, made from the Gamay grape for our red wines and the Chardonnay grape for our white wines. Our aim is to offer you great Beaujolais wines, with their own personality and character, expressing the diversity and richness of our terroirs.
