With his characteristic dynamism, Georges Dubœuf founded Vins Georges Dubœuf in September 1964 and began his trading activities. He revolutionized the practices of the time by applying the traditional methods of his ancestors: respect for the work of the winegrower, rigorous selection and monitoring of the evolution of the wines during bottling, and above all, the quest for top-quality wines - a challenge he takes pleasure in meeting every year. Travelling the world to promote the wines of the winemakers he selects, he becomes, in effect, the region's ambassador. Georges Duboeuf weaves a beehive whose nectar today delights wine lovers the world over. He remains faithful to his quest: to offer quality wines, combining the typicality of their terroir with a strong personality. A defender of the know-how of the producers with whom he maintains close relations, he practises his trade with heart, passion and a constant desire to share the best of Beaujolais.
