The winemaker

Domaine Mélinon is located in Villié-Morgon, in the heart of the Beaujolais crus. We cultivate around 16 ha of vines spread over 7 appellations: Morgon, Chiroubles, Régnié, Moulin à Vent, Chénas, Juliénas and Beaujolais-Village for red wines. For A.O.C Beaujolais white and rosé wines We cultivate our vines using a "culture raisonné" system, and some of them are being converted to organic farming. and ploughing, and have not used insecticides for many years. for many years. Our aim is to produce terroir-driven wines, so we vinify all our cuvées traditionally with indigenous yeasts, respecting the grapes and the wines. The wines are aged in concrete vats or oak barrels. A good wine is above all a wine that brings pleasure. Wine is a living product. the result of a way of working in the vineyard and cellar.
