The winemaker

Paul-Henri Thillardon hails from the southern Beaujolais region (where his father was a cooperator) in the Pierres Dorées area. But it's the north of the region that attracts him, where the crus are located, in particular Chénas in the commune of La Chapelle de Guinchay. From the initial 7 hectares, a number of fine plots (Boccard, Chassignol) have been added to the estate, which today covers 12 hectares of vines, tended by Paul-Henri since 2008, soon to be joined by his brother Charles. The soils are worked with horses (driven by Paul-Henri), phytosanitary products have been banned and the estate is certified organic.
