This cuvée comes from a terroir located, as its name suggests, on the "Les Charmes" climate: one of the appellation's most renowned terroirs. It has belonged to the FERRAUD family since 1942. Morgon comes from a terroir of decomposed rock. This appellation expresses its terroir so well that it has its own maxim: a Morgon must "morgonner", referring to its masculine, "massive" character, which stems from its close link with its soils: the famous Roche Pourrie.

Appearance
A deep crimson color with flashes of ruby.
Aroma
Aromas are of stone fruit: apricot, peach, cherry, plum. Well-structured vintages will develop scents of ripe fruit, stone and kirsch over time.

Full-bodied, powerful, rich and fleshy on the palate. The finish is long, with kirsch notes.

A red wine that first delights the eye with its intense ruby color. On the nose, it smells of fruit (apricots or vine peaches) and finally, on the palate, it releases all the strength of a full-bodied, powerful wine. A wonderful experience.

A lot in common with the Julienas "Les ravinets". And yet, for some reason, it didn't seduce me as much. A fruity, aromatic wine with a lovely roundness. But it left me a little disappointed in terms of complexity. Still a little young? A good wine nonetheless...
