A rosé with a difference, produced in the Bordeaux Clairet appellation. The production process is unique, known as rosé de saigné. The wine undergoes longer maceration than classic rosés. On the palate, it is full-bodied and very round, without lacking in freshness. Notes of red fruit are clearly evident. A true table rosé.

Interesting. I hadn't drunk Clairet for decades. It was Clairet de Quinsac...
I found the Parenchère to have a discreet nose, but frank in its red fruit, longer on the palate than the color would suggest, and the pleasure of a Merlot without a lot of tannin. Close to what we used to call a good table wine, the color shouldn't deceive us, it's not a rosé, it's a light red to be drunk chilled, and that's fine.
