In early 2022, Michel Bourel and Olivier Mermuys discovered the potential of Château de Roquemont. With global warming and summer droughts starting earlier summer droughts starting earlier and earlier, the geographical location of of Château de Roquemont on the lower slopes of Saint Emilion, on sandier soils terroirs to produce wines that are more in line with consumers' new more in line with new consumer expectations. Both of them are very attentive to customer feedback and want to bring a fresh approach to approach to Saint Emilion, with ranges that are more accessible in taste and budget.
