The winemaker

Bourg Vins Fins is the brainchild of two childhood friends, Louis and Paul, both 32, who set out to develop the exceptional Bourg terroir. They produce top-of-the-range cuvées from micro parcels in the heart of the famous Bordeaux vineyards, where the finest slopes overlook the Gironde estuary. Louis and Paul grew up together between Bordeaux and Bourg, both passionate about art, wine and music, the former a descendant of the Birot Meneuvrier family who have owned Domaine La Croix-Davids since 1800, the latter having been artistic director of a prestigious music label. After creating together the Vie Sauvage music festival in the Citadelle of Bourg, they are now working together on this ambitious wine project, to produce great Bourg, the fine wines of this Gironde city marked by history.
