The winemaker

Château Canon Pécresse benefits from an exceptional terroir where water and sun, air and stone combine. With its limestone slopes and gentle hillsides, the Château Canon Pécresse vineyard overlooks two rivers: the Isle and the Dordogne. At Château Canon Pécresse, only two grape varieties are grown: Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The wine produced at Château Canon Pécresse expresses the eroded limestone soil typical of the Fronsadais region. It's a very popular wine-growing terroir in the region.
