The winemaker

The estate covers 6 hectares of sandy-clay soil. The soil is tilled several times a year. The grape varieties are predominantly Merlot and Cabernet franc. Château Cheval noir produces 4 categories of wine, including 3 reds: a Saint-Émilion Grand-Cru, a Saint-Émilion, as well as a red Bordeaux and a white Bordeaux. These wines are fine and well-balanced.
