The winemaker

The vineyard of Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey, nestled at the highest point of the plateau of Bommes in Sauternes is the heart of the First Classified Growths in 1855. It faces Château d'Yquem, and its immediate neighbors are called Rayne- Vigneau or Château Guiraud. This ancient barony has survived the centuries since its first harvest in 1618, benefiting from a unique soil and climatic conditions combined with an ancestral know-how enabling it to play its grapes, a symphony of excellence giving a wine of unique and prestigious gold: Sauternes Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey.
