The winemaker

The gospel castle founded by the Leglise family in the eighteenth century. The family extensively contributed to the foundation of Pomerol. Today, the area is also part of the most renowned vineyards of the wine region. The difference in area is based on its soil it shares with the Château Pétrus and Cheval Blanc: it benefits from a long line of serious, exceptional for the region. The area has several notable vintages including the 1995, 1996, 2000 and 2005. On 22 hectares of vineyards are emerging Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
