Domaine des Gravettes has always had the potential to produce a great wine, as evidenced by the Cassini map of 1755. He realized his fate in 1978 when one man, Jean Depiot, representing the 15th generation at the head of Depiot Vineyards, took support the area and replanted the vineyards now produce wine from Château des Gravettes. Since 2005, every vintage has been illustrated by the family coat of arms which have thus become the mark of Depiot Vineyards: the letters "CD" interlaced, graceful and harmonious, symbolize an image of pleasure and lifestyle.
