The winemaker

The domain is owned by the Sorge family for 4 generations now and the fifth is already very active. For John Sorge works closely with her two daughters, Sylvie and Christelle. Together, they advocate a close intimacy with the land, the vineyard and winery. They also advocate the virtues of the family working to develop ever more qualitative vintages and always worthy of mention Cru Bourgeois. This begins in the vineyard, with double Guyot size complantation annual and careful selection of varieties and rootstocks. In the winery, the vinification is Bordeaux with control of temperatures and aging in oak barrels for wines that embody, with simplicity and elegance, the name which they emerge.
