The winemaker

Chateau Puy-Faure is on the right bank of the Dordogne in the village of Aubie Espessas. It is a small family owned operated for five generations owned Martine Charpentier and her three children, Anne-Laure, Benedict and Pauline who have taken up the torch. Benoit is both winemaker and cellar master and Anne-Laure takes care of the business part. Our vines planted at high density and mastered performance allow to obtain an optimum ripeness of grapes, which is then vinified traditionally. We produce a red wine appellation Bordeaux, which is a blend consists primarily of Merlot, with small touches of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Our soil is of great variety, our vines grow on bass, clay-limestone terrain and sandy clay. Our wine Château du Puy-Faure red Bordeaux Supérieur is a wine from the best parcels of property.
