The winemaker

Bought in 1997 in the city of Bordeaux, operating Feytit-Clinet is hard-won in 2000 by the Chasseuil family Feytit-Clinet being previously sharecropping at J-P Moueix. No flashy nor imposing castle cellars to Feytit-Clinet. The facility, located at the back of the family home, are merely functional and appropriate to the size of a wine area under 7 ha. The current objective of Chasseuil is to rebuild the reputation of a thought somewhat fallen into disuse in the late 20th century. Covering an area of ​​6.5 ha, the 30 year old vines on average, consists of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Located on gravelly, sandy soils, the vines are grown traditionally; disbudding each year, of leaf removal and green harvesting are made to regulate the returns and optimize the maturation of the grapes. The total production area of ​​around 30 000 bottles with the second wine of the Colombiers Feytit-Clinet.
