The winemaker

At the heart of the Pauillac appellation, one of the most prestigious in the Médoc, Château Gaudin is one of the last family-owned estates in the appellation. For several generations now, we've been cultivating our vines with passion, passing on our artisanal know-how in keeping with the winemaking tradition. Planted on the gravelly Saint-Lambert hilltops, our 10-hectare vineyard benefits from natural drainage and ideal exposure, enabling the grapes to reach optimum ripeness. The grape varieties, dominated by 85% Cabernet-Sauvignon, complemented by 10% Merlot and 5% old varieties (Carménère, Malbec, Petit Verdot), express all the richness and complexity of the Pauillac terroir. Committed to the future, we practice sustainable viticulture with HVE level 4 certification, guaranteeing respect for the environment and the preservation of our heritage. Discover a top-of-the-range wine from an independent family estate, where tradition, terroir and responsibility meet. ~~~~~~~~~~ In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, one of the most prestigious in the Médoc, Château Gaudin stands as one of the last family-owned estates in the region.
