The winemaker

Three typical Libourne grape varieties are grown in the Château La Favière vineyard: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines, divided into 16 plots to respect the typicity of each, are nurtured throughout the year, thanks to a soil composed of alternating sand and gravel, with a clay subsoil. The vines face east/west, so they benefit from maximum sunshine. Saint-Emilion's microclimate ensures perfect balance. The wines produced at Château La Favière are both powerful and elegant.
