The winemaker

Owned by the same family for 6 generations, this property's history is rooted in the terroir and vineyards of Bordeaux. Situated on a gentle south-facing slope, the single vineyard surrounds the house in a green setting. This 5-hectare vineyard produces only sweet white wine, appellation Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, made from the grape variety best suited to sweet wines: Semillon. Harvesting takes place in autumn, with grapes picked only by hand, in successive sortings. After bottling, the wine is transferred to an earthenware cellar, which contributes to the wine's excellent preservation. A sweet white wine is a wine for laying down, allowing you to discover the subtlety of its aromas, depending on the year. The pleasure of tasting allows a wide discovery of the different vintages, to be served chilled. The vines are tended and the wine is made with respect for the environment. In the autumn of 2023, the harvest has just finished and the new vintage looks promising. We're also introducing a new label: the container may have changed, but the content remains the same, with the same high standards of quality.
