The winemaker
In 1725, an Irish named Thomas Barton founded a wine merchant in Bordeaux, which quickly became the most prosperous in the region. After his death, his affairs are taken over by his grand-son Hugh Barton, who acquired this winery located Saint-Julien and Château Léoville Barton renamed. Ranked third Grand Cru Bordeaux the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, Château Léoville Barton continues to thrive to this day. This little raw product a Saint-Julien beautifully crafted. The wines are generous, have a full body, and a lot of velvety on the palate. In a style reminiscent of Léoville Barton, Léoville Barton seduce rather by its finesse and crispness.
