The winemaker

Located in the heart of the Libourne region, Chateau Le Prieuré is one of Saint-Emilion's most renowned producers. Its red wines are classified as Grands Crus. Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the two typical Bordeaux grape varieties. They are found at Chateau Le Prieuré. The estate's Grands Crus come with a hefty price tag, but this is amply justified. The wines are intense and ripe, for long ageing. That's why it's possible to buy recent vintages to open bottles more than ten years from now.
