The Family History   According to family legend, Kurt Bouchert, derived from Germanic lands, was an officer in the army of Louis XIII and became noticed Rochelle seat. We gave him the title of nobility and a small fertile ground near Saint Emilion. Under Napoleon III the descendant of Kurt Bouchert Stone Bouchert received the right to provide its wine in Paris. We called this wine "the second original." This is Stone Bouchert which expanded the area by buying land around. At that time he owned about 400 hectares. And it was he who built the Puy family castle on the Dordogne River.
