The winemaker

Coming from a family of winemakers for five generations, Xavier Pram Pram leads the vineyards with the constant concern to make best use of each natural (soil, grape varieties, age of the vines) and to showcase their diversity and personality. The Landeau vineyards include 3 areas: Château Mirambeau Papin (Bordeaux Supérieur), Château Courrèges (Premières Côtes de Bordeaux) and Domaine Grange Brûlée (Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur). The ambition of the area is to provide "all possible flavor." Xavier Landeau, scientific training, its areas governed by four key principles: Agriculture, Wine, Technology, Meteorology. Château Mirambeau Papin puts forward a Bordeaux varietal forgotten Petit Verdot. Renowned very difficult to make wine, it produces wines of great quality, and impressive vividness. This is probably the reason why the three areas, the Château Mirambeau Papin is the favorite of the Vin de France Review. Typicality and complexity make it a great wine at a reasonable price given the area. To control the generosity of Petit Verdot, the wines of Château Mirambeau Papin are realized based on Merlot velvety Cabernet Franc for the finesse and freshness, and Cabernet Sauvignon for the structure.
