Nice mansion in stone of the eighteenth century, the Château Montlabert is surrounded by a park with trees, and also has a former hunting lodge renovated into guest house. This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is located on the road from Libourne, near Figeac the tray and place said "Thanks God", to within 600 meters of Grand Cru classified illustrious names like Horse White, Figeac and Clos des Jacobins. The origin of this property merges with that of the first vineyards Saint Emilion. Its present name was given in the eighteenth century by Sieur Jean Michel Descazes-Montlabert which erected there a large house surrounded by a park where still live trees he had planted.
