The winemaker

The Calon Roc castle built its history 4 generations. In Laydis family, we saw wine as a passion and that is transmitted. The area between the family in 1922. Theophilus Laydis then made the acquisition of a terroir of Saint Emilion, on the hill of Calon. The Roc de Calon castle and its 23 hectares form the perfect duo for different cultivated varieties (Merlot majority). It is now Bernard, Sylvie Thomas and Marie Laydis follow in the footsteps of their ancestors.
