The winemaker

The Lapalu family bought the castle in 1964 and gives the Cru Bourgeois Medoc splendor. The family is at the head of several castles including the Aux pataches. This castle was previously used for stagecoach stop called pataches. The area is classified Cru Bourgeois since 1932. The family put on the terroir and the expertise of the Médoc to compose authentic wines of character, and maintaining control over each stage of the design of their wines.
