The winemaker

Pierre Taïx is head of the family estate since 1997, the family moved to Bordeaux since the sixteenth century and the field since 1850. Today Taïx areas cover designations as Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, Montagne-Saint-Émilion and Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux. Pierre Taïx hoisted his Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion Bio (The Mauriane) at the top of the appellation. The vines are perfectly worked, winemaking is traditional interventionist. The winemaker is very committed to making wine in harmony with nature.
