"new wine in the range, madame de beaucaillou comes from ducru-beaucaillou's vineyards in haut-médoc. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new. Subtly oaked, it is a lively wine with powdery, round tannins, offering aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and spices. Although appreciated in its youth for its tonicity, it will soften and show a new profile with a few years cellaring."
