The winemaker

The history of the Mähler-Besse company began in 1892 when Fréderik Mähler, then aged 20 years decides to leave the Netherlands to settle in Bordeaux in the sale of wines and spirits. In 1905, he married Marguerite Besse and gives his company an international dimension by opening up northern Europe, the Netherlands Antilles, Russia, Canada. In 1928, his son Henry just assist him.
