After hand-picking, the grapes are vinified in traditional, parcel-by-parcel fashion, with the oldest plots placed in oak tuns to preserve their character. During the blending process, the batches selected for this first wine are strict and uncompromising. Appearance
Dense, dark garnet-red color, tending toward violet in its youth.
Aroma
In the Margaux appellation, black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, are combined with an empyreumatic quality that gives off hints of roasted coffee and licorice.

En bouche les meilleurs Margaux sont ceux qui ont parfaitement intégré leurs tannins dans leur structure, donnant de la rondeur. On retrouve les arômes du nez à savoir les fruits noirs et des saveurs tertiaires comme celles du cuir, de la vanille.
