"Château Pédesclaux will most certainly be nicknamed the "château-aquarium" following its setting in a glass case. A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Merlot aged in 60% new barrels. Very precise and well-defined, the bouquet of this wine develops mineral aromas of infused black berries, graphite and cedar. The palate is moderately full-bodied, returning to chalky notes of black berries. The acidity is well blended, and the finish is elegant and refined. Château Pédesclaux warned us it would produce a great wine... this could be the 2014 vintage." Parker Wine Advocate, NEAL MARTIN - April 2015
