Château Malartic-Lagravière Château Malartic-Lagravière Red wine ● Pessac-Léognan
2018 75clThe domaine offers wines of exceptional character and amplitude. The tannins are present and well-balanced, while the structure is taut. "A vintage worthy of the greatest years, where everything comes together: The freshness and balance of this vintage combine with the brilliance of the fruit and its velvety texture". Jean-Jacques Bonnie - Château Malartic Lagravière
"A well-balanced wine, still restrained, aromatic despite everything and with quite a bit of punch on the palate."
Appearance
The wines have a dense but lighter robe than the medoc. The hue is ruby with a touch ranging from purple to brick depending on the evolution.

The bouquet is often fruity, with currant and other red and black fruits to which are added smoked or roasted notes.

Taste
Composed on average of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, the red wines of Pessac-Léognan make a good compromise between marked tannins and the greediness of the fruit. We thus find red and ripe fruits, and empyreumatic notes.
