In a few words ...

Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves region, the Chevalier estate has a very long history. It was depicted in 1783 on a map by pierre de belleyme, louis xvi's geographer. In 1983, the estate was acquired by the Bernard family, France's leading brandy producer and a major Bordeaux wine merchant. Since then, it has been managed by olivier bernard and his team. Under his aegis, the spirit of balance and the quest for perfection that has marked the production of this excellent cru for 140 years is perpetuated. Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, the flagship of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, is one of Bordeaux's elite Grands Crus Classés. Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is recognized as one of the world's finest dry white wines. Three vats (stainless steel, beet tulip and wood) to optimize parcel selection, perfect extraction and refine blending. Gravel on clay-gravel subsoil.

Tasting notes

Aroma

A clean, fresh and concentrated nose. Red and black fruits reminiscent of pine forests. Peppery spices and fresh notes of venison are present. Mineral complexity joins the full bouquet.

Taste

The attack is full-bodied, with a soft, silky, fruity texture. Great tannins coated with fruity flesh give a soft yet firm texture. Good length.
