70% MERLOT, 25% CABERNET, 5% MALBEC The climate in 2010 was unremarkable for our region, with mild winters (-7°C maximum), a few violent storms on the Atlantic coast and a continuation of the slow rainfall pattern. Summer was very fine. The harvest was carried out in excellent conditions. The wines are approaching 13% alcohol. With a beautiful deep color, and a good balance between alcohol and total acidity, which augurs well for an ageing wine. This is borne out over time with each tasting. Tannins and estate characteristics are evolving slowly but favorably. Can be aged for those with a suitable cellar. Drink now or within 8-10 years.
Built for laying down, forget about it for a few years and open up to beautiful complexity.
