    Produced in the vineyards of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, La Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou wines are powerful, silky and highly aromatic. They are produced in the Saint-Julien AOC area. They are blends of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, with the addition of Merlot Noir and Petit Verdot. They express the terroirs of Ducru-Beaucaillou. They are aged for 12 months in barrels containing two-thirds new wood. These wines are cuvées of excellence, seducing wine-lovers with their nose, finesse and balance.

    Appearance

    Dense, dark garnet-red color, tending toward violet in its youth.

    Aroma

    The nose is composed of violets and empyreumatic aromas such as wood, torrefaction, vanilla... As the wine ages, it will reveal high-quality game and truffle aromas.

    The appellation Saint-Julien is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Château Ducru-Beaucaillou and its 64 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
