"the 2019 vintage: after a cool, wet spring, heat reigned supreme until November 2019. A particular feature of the Sauternes region, the deluge at the end of July ruled out any drought and dictated the evolution of the harvest according to the nature of the soils. The extremely narrow window of favorable weather - just five days - means that we have to focus exclusively on harvesting healthy plots, without wasting an hour on pointless sorting. Yquem, with the great variety of its parcels, its experienced and available teams and its perfect knowledge of its terroir, offers a success story as rare as it is complete in this vintage. With its 45% Sauvignon, Yquem takes a new turn and reinvents itself with great intelligence. This important part of the blend brings tension and freshness, and makes this magnificent bottle very seductive in its youth. This vintage is once again a great success! The 138g/l are perfectly integrated, and the alcohol/sugar/acidity balance has been mastered to perfection."

The robe can vary over the entire range of colors from pale gold to coppery gold through straw yellow.
Aroma
In the main aromatic field of soft and sweet Bordeaux we find the flower, the fresh fruits, the exotic fruits but also spicy notes and empireumatiques (wood, cinnamon, vanilla ...).

Taste
The sweet white young are delicious, they are slightly jammy but still retain acidity. With age they evolve on more concentrated aromas, such as the bitter orange confit and small notes of salted butter caramel.
