Château Moulin de la Rose is surrounded by vineyards producing wines classified as Saint Julien Grand Crus. Although it has only 5 hectares of vines, Château Moulin de la Rose competes very well with its full-bodied wines. The soils are composed of gravel and the grape varieties are 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot.
