La Moutonne is a 2.35-hectare parcel, sheltered in a natural amphitheatre in the heart of the Grands Crus, the historic, age-old area of the Chablis vineyards. Its shape and ideal location make it a veritable natural solar receiver. Located 95% on Vaudésir and 5% on Preuses, a former possession of the Monks of Pontigny, La Moutonne is a Domaine Long-Depaquit Monopole. South-south-east facing, its steep central slope (nearly 40%) protects the plot from northerly winds. It also favors the outcrop, on a clay-limestone subsoil, of a characteristic geological stage of the secondary era called Kimmeridgian. This is characterized by the presence of marly limestone containing fossils of a small comma-shaped oyster (Ostrea Virgula).

Beautiful, limpid, greenish-gold color with very bright reflections.

Fleshy fruit on the nose (peach, nectarine) with citrus and floral notes (jasmine, violet).
