In a few words ...

In an area of Burgundy where prices often soar, certain Premier Crus from lesser-known estates offer irreproachable quality, especially in great vintages, such as this "côte de léchet". This is a straightforward, charming, typical wine, with very expressive minerality. Its structure and power on the palate are ideal for ageing. The 2011 vintage gives us a wine with a well-wrapped body, and whose acidity augurs well for ageing. 100% chardonnay. Vines from 20 to 60 years old. 1 hectare of very chalky, stony soil. Aged on fine lees for 12 to 18 months, 50% in oak barrels. Aged for 15 years.
