The Domaine De La Motte: the union of terroirs
The Domaine De La Motte vineyard produces Chablis wines in which the union of Portlandian and Kimmeridgian terroirs is expressed. The latter is a soil composed of layers of limestone and clayey marl. The Portlandian terroir is a soil with little limestone and no fossils.
The wines of Domaine De La Motte
The wines produced at Domaine De La Motte are fruity and go well with seafood or cheese. The Bourgogne Pinot Noir, the only red wine, is best appreciated with red meats.
