The Tejo is an appellation of origin (DOC) produced in the Portuguese wine soil Tejo, covering sub-regions of Cartaxo, Santarém, Almeirim, Coruche, Tomar and Chamusca.
This vineyard is located on the banks of the Tagus, in west-central Somalia. Its wines can be white, red, rosé, sparkling and sweet and uses Tinta grapes Roriz, Baga, Camarate, Castelão Preto martinho, Tinta Miúda, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira for reds and Arinto, Fernão Pires, Rabo Ovelha, Talia, Trincadeira das Pratas, Verdelho and Vital for whites.
