The winemaker
The vines are grown using organic methods and cover more than 10 hectares. All the wines are AOC Viré Clessé and AOC Mâcon Péronne. The Clessé terroir is composed of marly limestone, and the plots benefit from constant sunshine. Wines from this terroir are fruity and round. The Péronne terroir is composed of limestone and marl. Domaine des Gandines also produces a red wine, Bourgogne Pinot Noir, and a Crémant de Bourgogne. The latter is made from young Chardonnay vines.
