The Domaine des Pierres Rouges Chasselas is located 15 km from Macon, Saone et Loire Prefecture and 70 km from Lyon. In order to reveal at best the existing soil, all soils are plowed since the end of 1999 every second row, to avoid to the maximum the use of herbicides. The other position is naturally grassed by ryegrass and shaved with clippers with a clearance tractor. In order to develop terroir wines, this culture mode airy trellis and limiting yields using natural practices. (45 - 50 hectoliters per hectare). Thus, depending on the plot, the grapes are harvested by hand when perfectly ripe and vinified so specific for old vines over 45 years, and for other vines, harvested with harvesting machines for optimal compliance younger plantations.
