The winemaker

The estate was founded in 1964 by Alain Hudelot. Today, Charles, his grand-son, joined the farm with 10 hectares today. The estate is located in the municipality of Chambolle-Musigny near Vougeot in the lower part of the village. He is best known for the splendid vineyards of Richebourg (28 acres) of Romanée St. Vivant (47 acres). It also produces a fine crop of Chambolle "village" and a premier cru Charmes which are often part of the best. The wines here have a very silky texture and sensuality affirmed the place among the most elegant of Burgundy. Controlling yields and a wine that respect the typical grapes and terroir, make exceptional wines. The area is organized in viticulture with traditional winemaking.
