The winemaker

In 2011, Benoît Eschard took over Domaine Jeannin-Naltet, in the family since 1858. The domaine cultivates 9 hectares in Burgundy, including 7 in Mercurey 1er Cru. In taking over this estate, he wanted above all to highlight Mercurey's unique terroir, while adding a touch of modernity. Everything is done, from the vineyard to the cellar, to produce wines of the highest quality, which are now highly reputed in this region. The Guide Hachette des Vins also underlines the strong potential of the wines, and of the winemaker, who is on the rise. A very nice discovery for inexpensive Mercurey wines of the highest quality.
