The winemaker

The estate has three main vineyard sectors: Milly-Lamartine and Bussières (7.59 ha), Chardonnay and Uchizy (6.94 h) and Viré-Clessé since 2009 (6.58 ha). The terroirs are clay-limestone and planted exclusively with Chardonnay. The age of the vines varies from 20 to 40 years, except in Viré where the vineyard is up to 60 years old. Although the Domaine is not officially certified, biodynamic principles have been applied to the cultivation of our vines for many years. Vinification is traditional, with ageing mainly in foudres and demi-muids.
