The winemaker

The Juillot family's history with the vine goes back a long way, with traces of the family in Mercurey dating back to 1404. Laurent Juillot represents the family's fourth generation of winemakers. The estate, as it is today, was founded in 1930 by his great-grandfather. They cultivate 31 hectares of vines, mainly in Mercurey, with appellations such as Bourgogne, Mercurey and Mercurey Premier Crus. The grapes are harvested by hand to respect the vines and select the best bunches.
